| | Air India expands reach, adds Zurich and increases Phuket flights Starting June 16, 2024, Air India launches non-stop Delhi-Zurich flights with Boeing 787 Dreamliners, flying four times a week. This expands their European network to seven cities, offering direct connections between Delhi and Zurich, plus onward flights to the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and Australia. Additionally, from June 1, 2024, Air India adds a second daily service (except Wednesdays) to the Delhi-Phuket route, enhancing flexibility for travelers. Air India to restart Delhi-Tel Aviv flights on May 16 Air India on Friday said it will resume flight services between Delhi and Tel Aviv on May 16. The airline has temporarily suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv amid tensions in the Middle East. In a post on X, Air India said it will resume “services between Delhi and Tel Aviv with five weekly flights from 16 May, 2024”. |

Previously, tourists from India and Taiwan were allowed stay in Thailand for only 15 days under a visa-on-arrival scheme. By extending the exemption, Thailand hopes to encourage longer stays and more frequent visits from these countries. |

| Sri Lanka renews visa-free entry for India, select countries The country's Cabinet on Monday decided to award free visa entry to nationals from India, China, Russia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia who are on a 30-day visit to the island nation. According to the Department of Immigration and Emigration which handles Visa -free entry, foreigners from the above-mentioned countries should apply visa via website www.srilankaevisa.lk before arriving in Sri Lanka and the validity period of this free visa is 30 days. |
